We believe we are in the city, for the city. Bringing the Gospel to life isn’t just something we do in far-off places—it’s our mission here at home, too. One of our local partnerships is with Alternatives Pregnancy Center in Sacramento, whose mission is to provide women with medical care and alternatives to abortion as they proclaim the hope of the Gospel.
About Alternatives Pregnancy Center
Alternatives Pregnancy Center is a non-profit women’s medical health clinic licensed by the State of California. Founded in 1983, Alternatives is dedicated to meeting the medical, emotional, material, and spiritual needs of women facing unplanned pregnancies. By offering hopeful alternatives to the abortion choice, Alternatives is committed to empowering families in the Sacramento area and enabling them to build positive futures.
The licensed medical professionals and the specially trained volunteer Client Advocates provide pregnancy services, including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, nursing consultations, STD testing and treatment, Abortion Pill Reversal Services, Prenatal Care, and Well-Woman Visits. The Education Center at APC also offers prenatal, lactation, and parenting classes, as well as maternal and infant assistance.
APC accepts no federal or state funding, and all services are free of charge and completely confidential.

YOU can help Bring the Gospel to Life at Village of Hope!
Sponsor a family unit
Village of Hope knows that the biggest place healing happens is in the home. When first families are no longer an option for children, Village of Hope provides a unique model of orphan care - placing kids in a home with siblings and houseparents that they are able to build true family relationships with. Instead of individual child sponsorship, healing and hope for orphans is promoted through offering sponsorship that covers the entire family unit.
Join in prayer
There are many needs that we have. Not just for the ministry but for the country of Guatemala. Because of statistics involving child trafficking and child abuse, UNICEF has reported Guatemala to be one of the worst places in the world for kids to grow up. Every month there are several requests we share that gives you an opportunity to support Village of Hope by diligently praying for the staff, children, leadership and their community.
